- Concluding remarks:
- The present work applies the MFMT to the simulation of
number of the problems ranging from near wall flows up to
the real-life thermal engineering equipment.
- Validation against experimental data are provided to show that
MFMT performs satisfactorily.
- Within the scope of the present work, MFMT shows universal
behavoir: the same model features, including costant, are
used succesfully for all the cases presented.
- Improvement of physical realism has also been achieved:
SCRS model for combustion enriched by multi-fluid approach
has resulted in the realistic performance of the former without
the need to introduce the assumed PDF for statistical properties.
- Provided with library exemplifications and facilitated by PLANT
the current MFMT implementation is valuable engineering tool for
many practical problems.
